Nazis at Nuremberg on BBC2
It was Speers turn last night. Did anyone else watch it? I thought it was quite well put together and acted.
Speer the nazi who said sorry, but was he? In the epilogue it suggested he manipulated the prosecution to save his neck. I have always had mixed feelings about this man, when I was a kid and saw him on telly he seemed genial enough, bit like a favourite uncle but then you have to remember that his use of forced labour killed thousands, if not hundreds of thousands.
@Beirut, if this is in the wrong forum please feel free to move it to the appropriate one.

Haven't seen it, but having just read a book on the Nuremberg trials I would like to see it. What time is it on, and any idea on ''who's next'' ?

However, if they had not been slave labourers they would have probably been gassed. This is to excuse Speer, but simply to say that it was the lesser of two evils.

Herman was centre stage tonight. Again very well acted and written.
