It would be nice if you could declare war on an ally in the battlemap like in MTW.

It would be nice if you could declare war on an ally in the battlemap like in MTW.
But that would be totally evil backstabbing treachery.
And thus heartily approved of. ~
I've always been tempted to do that, but rarely succumbed. Although I will let my 'allies' do all the fighting if possible...better and more detailed diplomacy will hopefully be a feature of MTW2, allowing you to bribe or threaten people away from alliances and thus avoiding the situation where one tiny and irrelevant faction delares war on you and you promptly lose all your other alliances, an inevitable spiral when playing as the HRE, or when the Pope excommunicates someone and still stays allied to them when you
take advantage!
It's a great tactic when the AI sends it's king with a small army. I've never done it before but when I see it I like to pause the game and just look at him :stare: .
in mtw i usaully let my ally do the fighting then at alomst very end i delcare war on him :skull:
Which IMO shows that the depth of the AI in this area is woefully inadequate.

It would be nice that your ally joins your enemy and betray you,and kill you and destroy your big army.
no it wouldn't.
whats the matter with you!
lol
I've had the ally declare war on me in MTW1 in such battles. Hehe, a mad aspect to multi-way fights that I enjoyed :)
No, it is difficult enough, if you have a noob at your side. And in MTW Vi this option was disabled. So please do not implement it in MTW 2Quote:

I doubt that the AI will be comparable with a human player. And these option makes also with an AI ally no sense. There are more important missing things e.g. the exhaustion bars or the possibility to stop routing units and so on. All points, they have "forgotten" :laugh4: :furious3: in RTW.Quote:
