Checking in and Looking Forward to M2TW
...just saw the 3 "intro." movies and - WOW - looks like major improvements in graphics and presentation have been made.
Clarification on Recruiting Units = looks like CA has dropped the one unit/turn principle and substituted something similar to how mercenaries were hired in R:TW - there are a number of that unit type available and if you have the cash you can recruit them. Is this correct?
Question on the TAC AI = anyone know if the issues present in R:TW were addressed? If I had to come up w/ just area that R:TW fell short in it would be the TAC Ai - it was a bit of a joke.
Thanks,
Barkhorn.

Sort-of. The units available in a settlement depend on the usual buildings and their different upgrades. The number of units available (per type) depend on the size of the recruitment pool for that unit. So, for example, you could have a large recruitment pool for spearmen but a very small one for armoured cavalry, to reflect the availability and training speed of different units.

Nope, no one knows. CA have said a lot more about it pre-release than with Rome so it is an area they're aware of. However, we won't know until we all get the demo and hack it to pieces ~:)
Re: Checking in and Looking Forward to M2TW
Thanks for the feedback - I should be getting my new PC this week - and then it's demo time!
