Ok I have a possible way to do it. My first thought was to add an option for someone when they got voted in the thread, and then the person who voted for them in thread could vote for them in poll.

e.g.

Disco votes for Ice. I edit poll to add Ice as an option. Disco votes for Ice in poll. We have a nice, neat, visible record of who has voted for who.

Unfortunately this doesn't allow for unvotes. Now, I can edit the poll and reduce the number of votes someone has recieved, but I don't think it works well for keeping track of who voted for who.

I could just make the poll non-public and list the poll option as:

Ice (Disco, next-person, 3rd person) Votes:3

and then if Disco unvoted (hah!) the poll option would be:

Ice (next-person, 3rd person) Votes:2

The drawback of this is that it requires manual changing around for all votes except the first. Hmm. It is nice and visible though. It's a pity the system doesn't allow people to change their own votes.
