Possible IH: The Dawn of Civilization

After reading Vykke's (sadly unfinished) IH, I was inspired to do one of my own. However, mine's going to be a little different. I want to do one about the DoC, but there are a number of candidates. Another major problem is the lack of knowledge about the candidate civs. Most of what we know is based on second, third and fourth-hand accounts. If I do this, it's very likely I'll have to extrapolate, guess and outright invent major parts of the civ in question.

Is there any interest in such an IH?

And I voted Olmecs, simply because it's something different, maybe Polynesians would be more cool, but Olmecs are good too

There seems the best chances of political intreague and warfare. Many small states along a fertile region, known to have been at war often enough.

The Olmecs don't appear to have had many strong enemies or even strong friends around.

I went with Egypt on this one. I just like the area, and the unification was an interesting time.

China for me - it is a period that is interesting but I do not know much about, so finding out more would be good.:2thumbsup:

Right then, China's on top. I'm going to leave the poll open for 6 more hours. After that, I'll start writing the first scene.

The first part should be posted tomorrow, or possibly the day after tomorrow.
