Re: Missions for Generals
My friend I read a while ago that to become Imperator, you must also have completely wiped out the faction that yure general is conqueror of. So in this case that would be Carthage, are they gone from the map? And if they are and you still havent got youre triumph, send youre general to Roma, andddestroy the palentine hills unique building in Rome and that script will spur youre general to get his triumph! As I mean sheesh, cummon whos gonna wanna destory an actual part of Rome, and then not give the general who pretty much ordered it a triumph!:2thumbsup:
Re: Missions for Generals
You know... I'd never tasted red wine before... Or any kind of wine for that matter... But today i was walking around Tesco looking for a yellow pepper, and i saw all these attractive dark green bottles... So i thought, hey what the hell, i've never had it before, i'm going to buy one.
So i bought a bottle of red wine for £3 (about $5.50) and i'm half way through the bottle now as we speak. And all i can say is... Does all red wine taste like nail polish remover? I bet monkey diarreah tastes better than this...
I blame Teleklos...
Re: Missions for Generals
:laugh4:
What has actually not been blamed on Teleklos by you yet?
Re: Missions for Generals
Wine quality is related to the price. Cheap wine is worse then cheap beer.
Re: Missions for Generals
Well i've finshed the bottle and the effect is quite good i have to say.. i can see tewo of everything¬! i never get this effect from beer... This is why the romans likes wine so much!

Re: Missions for Generals
Does anything actually happens if you destroy EB's special buildings?

I don't think so.
Excuse me people, but could you all get :focus:.
Re: Missions for Generals
You are not a moderator. Don't pretend to be one. CoH doesn't mean "being a pain in the ass and post off-topic to look good in the eyes of the other CoHers".
Yet you are right, so I digress.
I don't think killing an entire faction is the prequisite for Imperator. I mean, what's the logic behind that idea? Surely you'd win/earn the title just by being an amazing military leader, good enough to lead an entire nation. Granted, killing an entire faction does amount to quite a lot, but there should be a less drastic way of getting the title.
Re: Missions for Generals
Might the descr_triumphs.txt not have something to do with it?
If so then you'd be awared a title of the kind when you:
a) are the first to conquer/raid Britain
b) are the first to conquer/raid Cyprus
c) hold Gaul, Iberia and Britain
d) hold all wonders.
There seem to be a sort of ranking in this: c) would give you the highest title, d) a pretty high title, and the others don't seem to do very much to your fame as a general. Something like Britannicus added after your name, probably.
Re: Missions for Generals
No. It's obsolete. The traiters/Roman FC will have to answer to the conditions.
