Good Wishes Along Ramadan Fest
On behalf of the Ramadan Fest celebrated among Muslims today, I hereby would like to wish all great and friendly members, their families, ones they miss, land they live on and this whole world we owe our existence to, at least a tidbit peace and love for today. I hope it will be even better.
Forget what you believe in, shall you have peace and feel the love today.
Salaamin-aleykum.

Wohoo, now that Ramadan is over, we can drink alcohol beverages.
I see you're familiar with here; you were on holiday or ?

Re: Good Wishes Along Ramadan Fest
We went to Bodrum in 2001 (actually, it was a one week cruise with a Gulek boat, which departed in Bodrum), to Antalya (8 days) in 2002 and to Kusadasi (11 days) in 2003 (our best holiday ever!).
I must say, we had alot of fun in Turkey and we met some fine Turks over there.
I'm sure we'll go back one day. ~

From when in Islam is allowed alcohol except if you are in travell?:book: I know that Turkey is different, but...
-
Re: Good Wishes Along Ramadan Fest
Well, I thought Koran doesn't approve alcohol consumption, but does not forbid it neither. I think it's a matter of interpretation :book: . But I must admit I'm no specialist.
-
Re: Good Wishes Along Ramadan Fest
Kur'an does not approve alcohol consumption at all. I can also can not tell if it is forbidden in the book. Even though it is not forbidden in the book, Muhammed may have done it, which counts as a forbid.
In Ramadan, alcohol consumption is not..hmmm..well favored. And people mostly apply that..It's a time when you rip earthly pleasures off yourself; that's why -any other things you can "a pleasure" added (considering your biological limits, of course...ahem..)

This is insulting. I mean if you intend to read the Kuran, you cleanup yourself, then take the book in your hands. A bottle of alcohol with it? No way.
Argh. I don't want this to turn into an Islamic teachings course.
PEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEACE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :hippie:
