According to the same thread, someone in Norway and Danemark also have the game in their hands.
Why can't the stores actually keep the dates all of the sudden ?? :dizzy2:
The big retailers keep the release dates most of the time, but many smaller stores often sell games earlier to get more customers. Otherwise they have a hard time to compete with the big retailers which often dump down the prices.Quote:

awww, I wished I coudh get it eariler here at the US.. :-( :-(
I saw the box in a big box store here in the US, but looked again, it was the Demo for $10. I really hope anyone who bought that find it good enough to buy the game, but paying $10 for a download, I doubt it.
mfberg
Yea. They like to Keep those Demos in that Big Box to try to Trick you.... Not like it going to work anyhow lol :-( :-/
I reserved a copy at Best Buy today for $10. That $10 is deducted from the price of the game when I pick it up. I was given a box when I reserved my copy. The box contained a demo. Which is great since I couldn't download the demo due to my slow internet connection.
Unfortunately the demo only had one battle-the Pavio battle.....
Anyplace to download just the other 2 battles?
I ordered it at Amazon.de and I will get it today or tomorrow :)
"Why can't the stores actually keep the dates all of the sudden ??"
My question is why do the stores that I buy games from always insist on keeping the dates?
Unfortunately I couldn't find any map files (I'm guessing the maps for the demo are contained in the data.pack file in the Packs folder), so other than copying all the data from a friend who's downloaded it I don't know what to do - but if you can do that you can probably nab the install off them anyway?Quote:

It's been available on Play.com for about 24hrs now, but nobody has it yet :inquisitive:
Oh, why do they taunt us so? :whip:
Hi Everyone!
First time poster but long time reader.
Just wanted to confirm the game is for sale in regular shops in germany.
Just bought my copy, and it is "komplett in deutsch", meaning complete in german.
Just browsed the manual a bit and came across something that might not be common knowledge yet, regarding the papal state:
the manual says (more or less in these words) the papal state can never be destroyed, if it looses its last region the pope will ask catholic factions to give it a new region.
Of course this donation will bring tremendous benefit in relation to the pope for the contributing nation and the wrath of all catholics to the faction that destroyed the papal state.
That is waaay more realistic.
... and excellent news:2thumbsup:
Anything else you can divulge from the manual? :book:
Hurray...off 2 the game shop I hurry....:charge: after work
Because only the minor stores release it early and that you or me are too lazy or cheap to go to these stores and buy it even if it more expensive ??:inquisitive:Quote:

And some more from the manual regarding the cardinals:
there can be a max of 13 cardinals to elect the pope, but there can be less if not enough priests with high enough faith available.
cardinals are immun to heresy, so they are the best choice to erradicate heretics on the campaign map.
^^^^^^^
this seems to mean that once our priest gets elected as cardinal he still stays our agent on the campaign map. Dunno if it was common knowledge, I never thought about what happend to elected agents.
Okay more of the manual, once I get my boss to look the other way for another sec. :furious3:
Damn, 4 more hours until i can go home!
Welcome Hengist :2thumbsup:Quote:

Just got the game, every larger store in Munich sells it since this morning. Installing it as I write this ...oh joy... :dancing: hours of medival madness following.
Some more insights following tomorrow.
Looks like all shops in germany sell it now. My copy is already in the mail and I just saw the game getting unpacked at one of the big retailers here in germany (Media Markt). Anyway, I don't have much time before the weekend.Quote:

****. It's out in my home country, but here in perfidious Albion they insist on keeping the original release date :wall:
Can't... resist... buying... GAME... have... to wait.... for... play... .com.... order

Damn you CDON :furious3:
Stop being legitimate and give me my game already.
Seeing I won't have that much time before friday anyways and I want the English version, I'm perfectly fine with waiting a bit more.
Even if I only say so to calm myself down, hurry up sendit.com! :whip:
Anywone in portugal got the game already? Heard fnac are only going to sell on the 10 :( gonna go hunting
So...how big is the game? 11 gig?
