MTW2 questions that hardly anyone asks!

Ok i have some questions that I have seen no one ask about. I am a bit surprised very few people wonder about these things as I thought they were excellent and made MTW 1 a very good game.
Here they are :

1) Titles:
Can you name generals and others to certain positions and stuff? Or are we gonna do what they did in RTW and actually have them earn those titles? Like I remember in RTW BI a general could gain titles like "comander of the stables" and all that stuff.
I loved playing as the Byz in MTW 1 and naming generals "commander of the fleet", "Commander of the army" , "Patriarch of Constantinople", etc....

If CA took this feature out may I ask why? I always thought this was a very popular feature that people liked.

2) Civil wars:
In RTW BI the civil war system was more geared toward the era. For example in Roman society if an individual governor wanted to be emperor he could lead his province in a rebellion( although in RTW this was ridiculously implemented). In RTW the problem was that if a province rebelled it would join the roman rebel faction.

In MTW 1 we saw whenever you had an number of disloyal generals you would get a warning. If you were not quick enough then a civil war would ignite. You'd get a screen that told you the two sides: rebels and loyalists. Then you would be given info on the amount of troops each side had, each sides best generals, and number of provinces, and the number of contested provinces. Then you could choose which side you wanted to take control of.

So my question is this: is CA going to be adding in the RTW civil war system or the MTW 1 civil war system? Or are they just going to get rid of civil wars outright? Personally I think civil wars were an excellent feature in MTW1 and they were done extremely well. They could sometimes get annoying but could be fun to play out.

3) Campaign AI. In MTW 1 the AI did not always betray you if you were on good terms with it. Now in RTW I had to deal with factions backstabbing me when they had 2 provinces and I had 40. So whats the deal with MTW2?


Sorry I know I talked about RTW alot. But I did it to compare CA's last two games and want to know which of the features they are going to be adding in: RTW style or MTW 1 style?

1 and 2 are not in, though you can have disloyal generals rebel against you and join the rebel faction.

As for 3, im 50 something turns into a Sicilian campaign and only been backstabbed once, by Milan after i moved most of my best troops out of Florence so they saw the opportunity to take it.

Ok heres another question for ya'all then.

Is it possible to remod titles or civil wars in? Or could the modders not go that far?

We don't know yet, most f the files are packed and we are waiting on CA to release some mod tools.
