Boiling Oil Defences?

Have anyone seen this function?....not once have they been used in any of my settlements...even the largest Huge walls and Citadels!

It's gone.

It's a different system. Now since your huge walls fire cannons and lots of arrow, and your citadel makes it easier to man the rings, the whole one wall fits all with hot pitch is gone.

And that it's gone is sad indeed. This was a method for many years in the period the game is settled in. I sat there bewildered as the enemy rushed into the city without being boiled.

I swear I saw boiling pots in one of my battles... Are you sure it's not in the game? Maybe im seeing things.

But I loved luring enemies into the boiling oil! Noooo! Change of strategy...now!
