Well how do i change which factions are avaliable in custom battles?

well, all factions are available in custom battles, with the exception of the slaves(i think). but for future notice, questions should be posted in the modding question subforum

Ahh no they arent. Let me explain my situation. Im playing a mod that has 2 factions. I want to duplicate a faction so that the same faction can vs each other in MP. Ive made all the units avaliable for both factions i just need them to appear in the selection screen. How do i change what factions are selectable?

Look in descr_sm_factions, in 1.5/6 there's a line
custom_battle_availability yes
just set that to either yes or no for each faction as you want.
