Board issues – Technical problems

Now recently I’ve been having technical issues on the board. Mainly with “Edit” not functioning. :inquisitive:

I’ve tried deleting Cookies but this hasn’t solved the issue.

Now, this morning I find that I’ve got………

…………65,535 UNREAD MESSAGES!!! :oops:

….well, I haven’t. I haven’t got even one unread message but it says I’ve got 65,535 unread messages.

IIRC, the only way to solve this problem is to reply to each and every one of the pm's with the phrase: "The milk basket is yellow this time of year, surely the oxen are ripe?" Except for pm number 436. DO NOT reply to pm number 436.

AFAIK, this is a common occurrence.

Gee guys...erm...thanks for the assistance but...

I'm sorry to say that I just DO NOT have 65,535 messages in my inbox!

Simple as that. It "says" I've got that many messages but they are not there and, honestly, seeing as the mailbox limit is 40, I can't have that many :dizzy2:

..can I have some help please?

*EDIT - YAY! Edit works as well now!! Its ok now, solve the issue.

I deleted the 17 read messages I did have and its reverted to normal. Though perhaps an Admin should look into the causes of this anyway from a technical standpoint.

Your PM inbox is full. You'll have to delete a few and it should go back to a normal level.

Braden did you have a Warning message saying "This warning has expired" If you recieved that PM then that is the problem once you delete that it should be gone.

No, no warning messages/PM's - actually no additional messages at all. The ones I had were the ones I knew about from the previous day, which were all in "read" status.

The "error/bug" didn't put any messages in my In-box and seemed to only effect my "front page" where it constantly displayed that I had messages waiting and it was a total of that number.
