I Got A Major Problem

Ok I've been looking forward to this game alot. I finally get to install it.
It runs aweful for me.:furious3:

I lag alot. On the campaign map whenever I scroll I move slow as mallasses. On the battlefield even with very small armies its the exact same. I got the game on the lowest settings. The menu, beggining of game trailer, and everything else work absolutley fine. Campaign map and battles are aweful. What can I do to improve performance! In June I got a new video card. So what gives here?:furious3:

What is your video card model? (be very specific and what brand is it?)
also, state your amount of RAM and your CPU model.

Since you didn't post your computer specs I'll just assume that you've got a below average machine for gaming like every other PC that had ever been "upgraded" for this purpose.

Go into options and uncheck "Campaign Map Shadow," disable all shadows and anti-aliasing, lower the resolution if you need to, and try again. If that helped, proceed to tweak with performance options, and if not, check for spyware/virus.

Of course you do need latest drivers and sufficient memory. If virtual memory is utilized to run this game try to reserve virtual memory on a different harddisk than the one that the game is installed on.

What new video card type did you buy and how badly sabotaged was it?
