Re: Good Pick
Looks ok to me...but all the replica weapons manufacturers I know are UK based.
I have several katanas and a wakizashi, none of them very good quality, from BladesUK and BladesUnlimited...there's a guy called Paul Chen who does much higher quality weapons but he's not cheap, probably $5-600.
As long as you don't plan on trying to hit anything with it, most replica weapons available should be of good enough quality to sit nicely on your wall or whatever. Naginatas in particular are quite spectacular and more unusual.

Re: Good Pick
It depends on what you want.
What do you want ? Do you want a fully functional blade or a decorative item ? Which weapon do you have in mind, exactly or are you not sure yet ?
I generally don't like replicas because they are ... replicas. I'd buy replicas from one manufacturer though, because they have excellent craftsmanship, and their replicas are fully functional.
Example of a fully functional katana

Eventually I'd like to order a custom made katana from them, it's very good value for money. Although in recent years they've become more commercialised. This following one is not great, but they have better.
They can also make you one, a single blade, one of it's kind, just yours.

Nice, King Warman! :jumping: ~:)
I'm jealous! :sweatdrop: I might buy something like it sometime as well.. something 'real' is too expensive but for decoration a cheap one will do. :egypt:
