Not exactly in depth research but since I haven't seen anyone mention this:

To open the new fmv format, the .bik (bink), download the tools here:

.... and install. Enjoy watching all those movies, and best of all the capacity to compile your own.

odd I can already watch the FMV Movie's.

This is more about the ability to compile them, which will be important to any conversions on MTW II.
