Re: Settlement rally point
When you create a rally point, troops recruited at that city (or ships at that port) will start outside the city and move to the rally point on their first move(s). I don't generally use them, but they are handy if you are using a city to supply a constant stream of reinforcements for a front-line war. That way you don't forget to go back to that city and order the next batch of reinforcements to move to the battle area.
Re: Settlement rally point
How do you remove rally points?
Re: Settlement rally point
Set a new one on the settlement or port where it originated, if I remember correctly.
Re: Settlement rally point
Quillan, it makes perfect sense that "When you create a rally point, troops recruited at that city ...will start outside the city and move to the rally point on their first move..
...But in my capital, London, I've been building a steady supply of spearmen to counteract my faction leaders unpopularity, perhaps due to being a judge on a reality TV show, and they all stay in London... (poor transport links?...)
None of these troops move off to the rally point...
Perhaps they only move when theres a certain level of civil rest in a location???
i.e, they only move when the population is happy???...
I hope your right, Quillan... It would reduce my turn time by about 50% as I'm trying to mass Armoured Swordsmen and Arqubusiers against Spain and Portugal...
Shhhh... keep that last bit about Spain quiet.. I'll give you 5000 Florins....Yeah?... (my Dips are rotten, too)
Many thanks
