Uh Mongols

All the sudden there are like 10 or so huge armies of Mongols all on my land. is there anything i can do? they seem to break alliances too easily and the same with ceasefires. this is impossibly hard. they're trying to take all my lands on the Italian peninsula. any ideas?

also...if i've finished the game and select continue, does it still count turns? and do these hordes go away?

oh and im pretty sure you had ample warning time.....unless you uhm, didnt notice the popup movie?

in anycase, just hide behind your cities till they stop attacking and move on to other targets =P that or move westward
