Game keeps crashing when I try to start it..

Been enjoying a great Arverni campaign/AAR when the game started crashing during either the Casse or the Eleutheroi turn. Tried to get around it for a while but then, as I tried to restart the game for well.. the fourth or fifth time it gave this error:

error in: eb/data/export_descr_buildings.txt
line 13414, column 53: celtic infantry aljaxgae

I then looked up the file and saw in the 'list' that this was the only mention of aljaxgae instead of aljazae. Changed it and then it said something with a J was wrong. Removed the only thing with a 'J' in the line, still resulted in the game crashing before it started.. :wall: Tried removing the every single mention of aljaxgae/aljazgae but then it said the next line was wrong..

Before? Is this a "where is Wally" type of question? That code is full of bugs, as you can clearly see, and I'm sure I haven't got them all.

What do you think could have caused the alterations?

Before fooling around in EDB you should just backup your files.

That is plain wacky. Could it be a hard drive about to fail? We have a spreadsheet and program that generates all recruitment code - this definitely is not the code the mod ships out.

Anyway, I guess I understand what might have caused it, yesterday before this happened, my pc crashed. Might've resulted in this file beeing messed.. I'll take a look if it's only this file that's wrong, if it isn't I might as well give up and reinstall.. :wall:

Of course I did back this 'buggy' file up before I changed it anyway.

EDIT: Took a look and errors keep occuring all over the file, thanks for the help but I'll reinstall, much easier.
