Weird Sweboz Issue and CTD

I was doing a battle as the Sweboz and was at the center of an enemy's town (for future reference this is near the beginning of the game and am using the Bi.exe thing).I decided to to zoom in to see the fighting.When I zoomed in a weird brown thing caqme up (it was sort of like an uspide down pyramid).Sadly I don't have a screen shot.This only happened in the center of the town (I can't remember the name but it starts with an A and its in the provence right next to the Sweboz starting city on the right).After zooming in and out to figure when the brown pyramid starts the game just crashed.

This is very intriguing, but at the start of the campaign, there is no such problem in Auscaulis (I just loaded up as eleutheroi and zoomed to city view). I take it that is the one you are talking about. If someone can let us know more about this (what building was it that was looking strange - what city level - what buildings were visible in the city on the strat map view if you can't get the battle map to load, etc.).

Well it wasn't a building.The battle had reached the middle of the town and was coming out of the units (more specifically my units,which were the made from the army near Denmark and the one nearest the city) and only came up if I zoomed in.Sad to say I should have saved before hand and now that campaigns lost (went to do another campaign waiting for someone to reply forgetting I had that on an autosave)so i can't get another good look at it.

I've seen some weird brown pyramids too in my sweboz campaign. But I had no CTD. It was just an graphical issu for me.

My pyramids sprung from a unit of archers (those that you have from start). It was just in one battle. Perhaps it was at the same map?

Yes, the pyramids are caused by a graphical glitch in the Celtic/Sweboz/Getai archers. It has been sorted out for 0.81. But that is unrelated to a CTD. It is just a graphical anomaly.

The CTD then was probably caused by playing EB all day.:san_laugh: .Thank goodness its getting fixed in.81 .I want the Sweboz working fine so I can bring my Sweboz AAR back from the dead,but better.

oh, those are the celtic archer unit - they had a model problem. That will be fixed in the immediate patch.
