Need help on mid Campaign Changes

I'm trying to make some modifications mid campaign. I believe it can work provided the game launches using the modded files. Am I right ?

Yes. I have changed traits, unit stats, agent success and even campaign AI on the fly. Excellent for tweaking.

Modswitch, the old-fashioned way. Changes made to the modded files will show up when you next load the campaign.
