Vanishing Princess!
I already did a cursory search but wasn't able to find anything so he goes....
Playing as England, I built up my first princess that you start the game with about 5 charm points and was pretty happy. Then around turn 15, poof! I noticed that she was missing from the campaign map. I purposely did not marry her off to keep the royal line pure. She did not show up in the family tree either. I thought if she got assassinated, it would show the date of her death on the family tree but her picture is missing like she never existed. Kinda pissed me off after spending all the effort to build her up. This has never happened before so that's why I posted. Have been lurking for a long time but first time posting.
Happy New Year!

Re: Vanishing Princess!
Well I don't know if it's the same as in the old MTW, but when the princesses get older they are too old to marry so they kinda disappear off the map.

Re: Vanishing Princess!
I know when my princesses get too old to get married it gives me a message saying "This princess is past childbearing age, and has gone off to a nunnery." I think it keeps them on the family tree as well, but their picture changes to an older woman.
I don't know what could have happened to your princess... Though I don't know if your family's chromosomes would really appreciate your efforts to keep your family pure....

Re: Vanishing Princess!
She was only in her 30's. I understand if she was too old cause that is what has happened in some of my other games. I never got that message anyway. In regards to keeping the line "pure", I was referring to only letting the male members of the royal line getting married and having children.

Re: Vanishing Princess!
Matter of fact, I've seen it today in my own campaign TOO. You can imagine the reaction I got. She wasn't 40 yet either. Hmm, I wonder.

Re: Vanishing Princess!
Hi,
It happens on my campaign too.
And, after my initial princess I never had another, even if I refuse marriage they did not show on the map and after some time I receive the msg that they were too old??
What I could do to use then?
Tks.
