Another of endless questions...

Recently, I have been trying to add a new temple to a new faction I've been working on. Everything worked up until the new building was added. I kind of thought I understood the files that needed to be changed, and what changes to make, but, alas. Now when I load up the mod to try it out the game won't even load, so of course the show_err command doesn't help at all. I've uploaded the files, (that I've changed) hopefully someone out there will look at them and immediately know what is wrong or what other files I have to alter.
The files in question all have changes that refer to temple of leadership 2.

Just from a quick glance you seem to have left out the _name tag at the top of the export_buildings.txt file (did I read right and you put it in edb enum instead???). Try adding that in and see what it does (and removing it from edbe).

Not sure exactly what you mean, Dol...in the edbe if you are talking about the line

there's a space in the 'short' unless you just acquired that whilst posting it here...

EDIT: actually you've got quite a few of those type of errors you've got a des c and a couple of
sh ort and some spaces that shouldn't be there between the underscores and also at the end of the strings before the closing } - you really need to go through all those strings very carefully!

Hi, Makanyane! Thanks for looking and speculating.

As far as the typos you are pointing out, I'm not really sure how they happened, since all I did was copy and paste and I'm not seeing those in the original. It worries me, since I kind of thought copying and pasting was foolproof (unlike my amateur typing abilities) and almost every entry I've made in the original files was by that method and only changing relevant lines.

However, I did not know about the other line found in that file, which was obviously what Dol Guldur was also pointing out that I didn't understand. That might well be the problem, unless I do have typos I'm not seeing.

I'll try it out and report back!
