Okay this has nothing to do with elephants or whatnot, but, Which provinces provide the iberian light infantry, the ones with the falcata? im very curious as they seem very, Very effective in my lustonnian campaign and i would like to use them in my carthaginian campaign too, but i cannot seem to find WHICH provinces allow me to recruit them, or which MIC's i need to do so.
BTW the lustonnian units are REALLY cool :yes: and the campaign is really fun to play.
In my carthie campaign could recruit them in the iberian mediterranian provinces after building the 3rd level of the "faction MIC". Yes they rock, together with the Scutarii, I used them as the wings of my armies when I assaulted Italy, they are incredibly fast and well suited to the flanking maneuvers :)
The Castrati? (sp :laugh4: )
The Scutarii guys, the ones that carry metal spears according to the description, are available in Aquitine. I think that's a bug, though.
Ahh, Thank you guys VERY MUCH, i really appreciate it, because i really love these guys but i have so few when i start out, and i had no idea how to get them. How do you get them as the lustonnians though?
There are two versions of that unit, the Iberian Caetrati and the Lustonnian. The Iberia version is aviaible in the south and east with a level 3 MIC for Carthage and Lustotania. The Lustonnian one should be there in your starting province and one just to south at MIC 2.
Well recruitment in the two Lustotanian provinces isn't working for carthage, so you have to make due with the normal iberian version *and they have better stats anyways, so it's all good.Quote:

those definately have a card, its in my game. maybe it was added with the 8.1 update though.
I have experienced a bit of randomness in the unit cards. Sometimes I can see unit cards in my army, yet the same type of unit in a rebel or enemy army looks like a peasant. And vice versa.
Yea, those medium infantry have peasant cards in my game too so it must be the .81 that fixes it. Another weird thing is I recruited Massaloi Hoplitai (I think they were called) and my game crashed and it crashed every time I fought Carthage when they had the units too. I had to auto calc it all the time. Then I fought Lusotannan armies with them and it worked fine. Now I can recruit them and it doesnt crash. I dunno, just kinda weird. Sorry if this was a wee bit off topic.
