Today i joined a game with title " 2v2"
When a 5th person joined i asked the host:
"i thought it said 2v2?"
it came out as:
"i though* ** *aid 2v2?"
The host was clearly perplexed and somewhat annoyed that i was cussing him.
Has anyone else had any awkward moments caused by gamespys filter?
the filter is beyond retarded... there was nothing anyone said in any foyer of any tw game that ever offended me to the point of needing a swear filter, i barely used 'ignore' function either.

GS or whoever decided to use such a freaking filter is beyond retarded i agree.. You can still spam the lobby, they better use a filter that doesnt let you type more than, lets say 10 lines, within 10 sec or sumthing, that would help much more than filtering every f***ing word even if its written separately.

Took me all of 2 seconds to go round it. I've also gone round it many times the gamespy chat monitor there and hes done nothing to me. Censors are retarded espeially if you cant enforce em.
I agree Zeph. It doesn't stop the language by those who really want to use such, so why would CA/GameSpy want to frustrate normal people who do not use such language?
