Hi guys, sorry to bother you all again with one of my annoying noobish questions, but I was curious to know why the Tavern Backroom is completely empty with no posts in it? I have noticed a prestigious HoF award for best backroom contributor, but nobody seems to have posted anything in there. Is something being hidden from me? Cheers guys.
Yes, you are locked out of the more nefarious parts if the forums. You be able to see the Backroom when you become a member IIRC.
Its not really too exciting, just more mature conversation IIRC

Omanes Alexandrapolites, yes you should be able to view (and post in) the threads in the Backroom, now that you're a full member.
Try logging out of the forum and then log back in. If you're still having problems after that, then you should probably PM Tosa; he'll most likely be able to help you out. :yes:
Thanks Martok. I've tried, but it still disallowed me to see anything in the Backroom, so I will try sending a PM to TosaInu. Thanks for all of your advise.
No need to apologize for newbish questions - it gives the rest of us a chance to share the wisdom gleaned from a life frittered away on these addictive games, and helps us justify the time we've spent :2thumbsup:

Exactly. Imagine the scenario: You are penning an epic write up to a battle when you sight the boss, expecting you "work" as ever. You quickly cut and paste to the notepad and open something complicated looking, like the source to this web page for example, the boss passes on, and simply log back in and get back to where you were. Or you could use it as I do for keeping the occasional note or reminder, e.g. if I read a good idea for a bit of modding I'll jot it down there to avoid forgetting it. :stupido2:Quote:
