How do you teach snowboarding?

Hi all. :help:

I'm going to teach my friends to snowboard. Do you have any idea on how to do this? I tried teaching my other friends and cousins before, but they gave up too easily. I can teach them how to balance, but so far, I failed to teach them to turn.

According to this, I should start with the falling leaf. Looks like I'm off with a good start.

turning could be quite difficult to teach, because it's sort of instinctive... :2thumbsup:

Tell them its all about:

using your body weight
leaning on your leading foot
twisting your body in the direction you want to turn
the board will follow
look the way you turn
keep your knees apart

start with that for turning.
