campaign map makes me dizzy
Hi
I'm new to this forum. I loved Shogun and Rome, and now onto Medieval2.
I'm having big problems with the speed the map scrolls around at. It just zips around like a badger on speed. I've tried the scroll speed slider in the options menu, but this only alters the battle map, not the campaign map.
Is there any way of changing the scroll speed for the campaign map at all?
Cheers

I can't think of a way to do so in game, but it might be worth your while having a look at your mouse settings in windows and seeing if you can slow down the movement speed that way.
You could also try moving the campaign map using the arrow keys, and not using the mouse at all.
Re: campaign map makes me dizzy
Thanks for the idea - but not much benefit, unfortunately :(
It's just a zippy/supersensitive using the keys as the mouse.
Re: campaign map makes me dizzy
Does it really make you dizzy?
I don't have any problems, maybe your eyes are just a bit sensitive to computer screens?
Re: campaign map makes me dizzy
Wanna switch? For me its the exact opposite.
Re: campaign map makes me dizzy
for me, the map scroll is like map scroll on old games which cant test the faster cpu speeds properly, and so moves faster than designed.
the fact that the maps scrolls slowly for some people would seem to re-inforce this theory, as maybe their CPU is a bit on the slow side.
Could this be a bug? CPU speed not being detected correctly, or maybe not being detected at all, so that the map scroll function speed is fixed and therefore CPU speed dependant?
