Victory Screens

Winner, winner, chicken dinner. :2thumbsup:

If anyone else wants to put theirs up, go for it. I think this is the only one I've ever gotten actually. I did it by cheating as heavily as possible - all battles but one auto resolved (but no 'attacker win' or that kind of cheat was used). Money and building all buildings in my cities, to see what recruitment and building issues were like. And testing out an awesome new trait thing for KH too that I won't reveal here.

Anyway, this is on 0.81. No big revelations, but it looks like Parthians are doing better, and Baktria went in the right direction (Kophen) first. Aedui are doing well.

Heres my Hayasdan victory screenie from a while back. I havent really played much since then, certainly not long enough to finish a campaign. Hopefully 0.81 will be out by the easter holidays, and I will have a couple of work-free (ish) weeks to play out a Roman campaign...

who is the guy in the KH victory screen?

I noticed it said The Scipii in that victory screen. I dont mean to be rude, but should that not be fixed?

He said it was from a while back, assume, therefore, that we aware of the problem and have either fixed it or will fix it in the near future.

Here's the minimap from when I won my Carthage Campain, at 232 BC iirc. Ending up just sailing a full stuck over and retaking my homeland, and the last city needed in Italy on the same turn.

Chartage, it was on H/M difficult, never retrained a single unit, always merged, never attacked a faction if they were not attacking me.

I tryied to transform every town conquered in a carthaginian town,
as you can see from Roma...
every previous form of culture was totally deleted...
ok, Segesta still have a non cartaginian wall, but but as i could build a new palace, even this town will have a cartaginian wall... anyway i've not continued it, it was from an old tryout campaign, just after 0.8 come out.

Thank goodness we've got rid of the old videos now in the new build, and got the proper victory screens working again (and all the propre faction destroyed ones too).

It doesn't really count because I cheated, but here is the possibilities for the Seleucids if they had unlimited money:

How does one get the objective cities to glow? I don't remember how and I have completed the victory conditions for the Getei. Checked the FAQ but it doesn't say how. I assume the mission map is out of date since the campaign is still going.

Open the faction window and press ?.

That was U5, I'm assuming the new screens were in U6. Or is there an error?

There should be a picture with all of the needed provinces colored. I have never seen anything glow, myself. (Though I have never tried.)

If you go to the faction information scroll and click the question mark top right, the cities you need to capture get a sort of flashing white square round them. Its quite handy, but annoyingly you cant seem to get rid of it short of closing and restarting the game.

Ah that's the one. Knew it could be done but not how it was done. Anyway you can call this an 'almost victory screen'. I couldn't get glowing effects on the cities I had to take but I got them on the raid targets, clicked on the '?' a bunch of times but that was the best I could get.
