Not that I have an idea of what exactly you're talking about but it sounds sorta history related so you might want to post this question in the Monastery.
isnt this the monestary?
Yes and no.
This is part of the monastery, but we deal specifically with alternate history.
Yeah, we're a sub-forum of it. The Monastery is where the "real" history stuff is discussed. This forum is just playing with history.
ohhh well sorry.
lol, a mistake which I have seen only once, but may more times to come.
This is where we handle history, change it and repeat it, if you like history, and like to play Text based games, then hang around here a bit longer and I am sure there will be plenty of people to help, when i first cam ehere I didn't have a clue what an interactive History was, now i host one!
Jkarinen,
You may find this of use
http://www.canadianeconomy.gc.ca/eng...ton_woods.html
but really this needs moving to the main part of the Monastery to attract the attention that might be able to help more.
For those who don't know what the question means,
"In the first three weeks of July 1944, delegates from 44 nations gathered at the United Nations Monetary and Financial Conference in Bretton Woods, New Hampshire. The delegates met to discuss the postwar recovery of Europe as well as a number of monetary issues, such as unstable exchange rates and protectionist trade policies."
I got all that in my research but just yesterday i found the answer to my question. It was the Great Depression.Quote:
