trouble with start up bug
Hello all, I am a history enthusiast, and upon reading your description of EB, i knew I had to try it. I have already sunk so many hours into the original R:TW, and this is just making the best, better :)
Unfortunately, I am having a problem. Upon loading EB, I get the following message:
Script error in data/descr_sm_settlements.txt, at line 304, column 1
expected culture type, found Nomad
It is my hope that this can be fixed without my having to uninstall R:TW, because I do not believe that I still have the confirmation code.
Any help would be greatly apreciated.
Thanks!

Are you using 0.8? I remember that problem occuring with 0.74, but I've never heard of it appearing for 0.8. Anyway, it sounds like a corrupt download and I would recommend redownloading the EB install file. If you cannot do a clean install of RTW then that is fine, but it is recommended that you install EB over a clean RTW. Also, have you upgraded RTW to 1.5?

I had the same thing, it's most likely a corrupt download. reinstall or find a download program and install EB with it.
