Ok, I'm trying to add the ability for a faction to construct several buildings, everything's ok right now except all the buildings display what looks like a roman baracks picture....

You need to add new pictures (or copy and re-name old ones) in data/UI/culture/buildings
follow the existing format so you need to name your new pictures
#culture_new_building_name.tga
#culture_new_building_name_constructed.tga
including for the smaller versions in the construction folder.
If you have BI you will be able to see these files already. If you are using RTW you need to unpack the .pak files in data/packs, use:

to unpack and view old ones. Set up new folder paths in RTW folder
to data/UI/culture/buildings for new ones.
