"Questions/Answers"

Hi everyone :beam: new to posting, but have been around since time began. I have a few questions and am looking for a few answers... I own the original STW, plus I have the original STW(WE), about 6 month ago I loaded up STW(WE) and the game was running smooth for about 10 turns then it crashed to the desk top? uninstall/reinstall now the game is running but the throne room dose not have no sound and yes crash to the desk top?? :furious3: O.K. done put it away and forget about it!!!! :dizzy: Now it is time to become "Shogun" once again. I know my computer can handle the game OS=XP, 240gig HD, ATI 9700 pro, 1gb ram, P4,ect... is this the Starforce crap or just the Win98 vs. xp mode? What is the best clan I like "Takeda" pony city, "Shimaza" secluded build an empire, "Hojo" cheep buildings, "Oda" center expand all directions, "Uesugi" bow men are great island hop oh yea, any way I need to get this up and running any help would be appreciated. Thank's ~:cheers: oh yea you guys MP on the net definitely need to get hooked up :2thumbsup: .PS if I go buy "Eras" is that the latest versions of all the games on disk or just the old games thrown into a box for some fast cash and a intro for new players?????

I don't know if there really is a 'best' clan, really. I enjoyed playing the Shimaza on my first go, but I have no real preferences here.

I did a quick search on the Era's package:
Total War: Eras includes every currently available Total War game: Shogun: Total War with the Mongol Invasion Expansion Pack, Medieval: Total War with the Viking Invasion Expansion Pack and Rome: Total War with both the Barbarian Invasion and Alexander packs. All of these outstanding products make up one of the most critically acclaimed and commercially successful PC real-time strategy franchises ever.

I believe it contains the latest versions of the games, so patched and all.

I am quite sure the Eras pack contains the latest versions.

Also I just recently figured out a fix for one of the problems with shogun, and yes, this game is awesome.
