Look at the mini map. Theres some kind of bug where the little island that Dublin is on won't turn a complete white outline. Also the entire island doesnt appear visible to me as if I dont have total control. Anybody else have this problem?

If you have line of sight of the entire island (say by building towers), then the island will show the white outline on the minimap. At the moment, you do not have line of sight on it.
I realized I had the same on my map. Thought it was different however the line of sight makes perfect sense.
Place a watchtower near the merchant, and you'll see everything.
You actually don't have complete view over your provinces. You only have view for X number of tiles away from your city/army/agent...
Oh ok. I was under the impression that once the regions cities were controlled, you would have complete LOS.
Nope not at all, in my venetian migration campaign i use all of my awful generals for watchtower building through my huge empire. Right now I have LOS over the entire southwestern part of the campaign map
