EB custom music, what are your preference?

i like the standard EB music very much, but im just curious what kind of customization have you done to your own copy, now that it is so easy to edit the music folders. For example have you added some music from films etc to some faction (like Alexander music for the greeks) or Persian/Iranian folk music for the Eastern factions?
I know it is not legal to create a mod with this music, but everyone is free to customize it for its personal copy. So im curious of your custom modifies to your EB music directory.

Let me know, suggestions etc...

I've definitely added a lot of traditional music and recreations of ancient music. Lots of it. I want to get the maximum replayability out of the mod. It has led to me buying more CD's in the last month than I have in probably the last decade (I bought a Synaulia one (Roman), Melpomen (Greek), Racy's Ancient Egypt, a couple of Prehistoric Irish music ones).

When fighting against the Sweboz I can't help but play black metal.

I usually hate to dig up old topics, but one thing I must share: the music from the game Outcast is absolutely perfect for EB. As far as I'm concerned, after recently playing the game again I'm convinced it's the best score ever recorded for a game, and a number of tracks are ideally suited for the campaign map (Talanzaar for the Eastern factions, for instance) and certainly for the battlemap (the various Arma themes). If you've got the game, try it!

When playing as the Sweboz I like the sound of Opeth.
When playing as the Gallic factions I love the sound of Miaden.
When playing as the Casse I love the Sound of Queen.

I use some movie themes when I can't find anything else. But, like TA, I prefer traditional music like Synaulia and Faraualla(S.Italian folk singers) for the Romani and Western Greeks. Some Faun and Corvus Corax for the Celts and Sweboz. And Armenian folk and The Kamkars(Kurdish band that does Iranian music) for the Hai and Pahlava.:egypt:

I've changed the march music with Seven Nation Army - by the whitestripes.
Also some battle music I've put in For whom the bell tolls by MetallicA.

I will just say we will have a public announcement concerning the music before much longer also. That is all. :grin:

Ontopic:Celtic battle music is extremely hard to find. Can anybody recommend some Celtic tunes that would work great with a Gallic charge? And no, I will not use Riverdance, Braveheart, or anything involving "modern" Irish/Scottish music.(I.e Bagpipes, Fiddles, songs sung in English about lonely Sailors and whatnot.:thumbsdown: )

No custom music in EB, but i like listening to industrial metal in M2TW while i watch my axemen hack the enemy to pieces in slow motion :2thumbsup:
