hey guys, my EB does allways quit and throw me onto the desktop at midgame when i start to get strong about 210 BC. is it my PC or can i do anything to avoid it? please help. the mod is great and i love to play it but i cannot go any further this way =(
I assume you mean a ctd? Try these fixes, I think yours is the Hayasdan AI problem, so try that one first.

hy, i tried all 5 fixes, but all i could reach was another round. the next round it crashed again =(

Well, that's as far as we've gotten so far. Having a CTD like this that all our fixes so far won't fix is pretty uncommon (you might be the only person so far), so please understand that part.
How are we meant to help you when you won't explain the problem. How did it happen? When did it happen? Who were you playing? etc. Give us some details and we might be able to help, otherwise we know just as much as you.

ok, it wasn't meant to be that unkind it did sound. i have played ptolemaioi and koinon hellenon and with both sides it crashed when i started to become great, about 210-200 BC. hiz the round forward button and then it happens, desktop. i tried all the fixes, could get another round forward but then it happens again...
edit: i did not try to play a new campaign. i invested much time in the 2 ones. and i really struggeled with the koinon hellenon at first, then i nearly got first spartiates out but before the buildings were finished - crash! damn! i really like spartiates...
Could you post the savegame? And I assume you are playing on RTW and not BI. That sounds like the Hayasdan bug which hits at that time.

yeah i will post it in about 2 or 3 ours when i have returned from my playing pc^^
i use rtw not bi. i do not even own any other addons for rtw, because i like the antique. and u said something of hayasdan!? in the fix lists were 5 fixes and non for hayasdan as far as i remember. tell me whether i am wrong and missed some fixes...ok later...

Your thread has not got the attention you'd like. This is because
- You posted it in the wrong forum, it should be under "EB Bug Reports & Technical Help". Those who help out usually go there, and your post easily drowns in all the activity on the general forum.
- The thread subject is very misleading. I only clicked this thread because I was thinking of maybe stringing together a list of tips for increasing performance.
The "Hayasdan fix" spoken of is part of the typo corrections fix. It was called the Hayasdan CTD due to it usually happening when it was the Hayasdan's turn during the AI phase.
Note that the fix has been updated since you first tried the fixes, please try installing the permanent fixes again. Then if the game still crashes, REPEATEDLY for at least three times straight, please post a new thread in the tech help forum, preferably linking to this thread. Trying several times is important as there is no way we can reliably find the bug when the game does not behave consistently.
Also please include information about what faction has the turn when the game crashes, and whether there are any cities about to rebel.
