Vikings Revival: New webside in progress from Max and Mas

There comes up a new webside, developed by Max and Mas. It is still in progress. There are plans to make a calendar where u can fill in when u want to play VI. So all can see on which date it is worthy to log in. And You even can see who wants to be online, so it is easier to meet and all who had no time yet to join us on our "friday and sunday VI-Day" will get the possibility to fix on other dates.

You can also find a world map with the time zones. You can use it to avoid misconceptions with the different times. I am sorry this map is superscribed in german, but it was the best optical map we found. So You have to click on the top at the left on "Uhrzeiten aktualisieren" and the map actualizes the times.

There is also a large summary of great replays. We collected also battle-replays with interesting tactical movements and outstanding teamplay of mixed teams. So maybe the one or the other can learn some by watching it. It is a pleasure to see how non-clannies play together against good clans.

Moreover, there are personal profiles with real pictures of players. So You can find out some information about the person behind the nickname.

In forum there are already many well known Names. It's a nice rally.

Max and Mas doing much work and imo they do a very good job with it. It is worth to support it.
I am sure the side will grow with the time. All ideas and advises are welcome.

I didnt know yet, there is an application like this.

In the readme file is said: Final version 2.01
but also is instructed that it is designed to be used with Medieval: Total War version 1.1.

To avoid misunderstandings: You can also install it to VI 2.01

Hey guys I have a problem. Now Ive got the mappac installed but find out my cursor no longer works correctly in the game and I cant control my units or draw lines. I cant remeber if I ever really played VI on this pc cause you guys never would play a regular map LOL.:laugh4:

Now Ducky says it maybe in my driver. All my other games run fine. He said it might be in my vid card for just this gaem. I have an 8800GTS320. Any suggestions? or should I go to the apothecary?

At first: At last I hosted some games named "RegularMap for Gawain" :yes:

And to Your lost control of Your mouse I can mention I got the same problem a few days ago. Believe me, its really hard to win battle with this penalty. :wall:

I have a 7900GTO, so it may be the same way to fit it.

made a edited profile other day, but not fond of posting my pics online. Excellent site made :D.

Id like to invite any of those who are looking for an NTW revival to also show up on fridays. If enough show up I will sneak onto my sons pc and dl the mod. I miss that game more than anything.

Then be a nice ideal. mabye we could set aside fridays to do NTW or Pike&Musket or ATW and that stuff.

NTW rocks... im always around for ya Gaw when you need an NTW fix :-)

i did tell judgee 2 tell every 1 in there for me that i cant play any more
but he slow..........

u need 2 get an older card m8 2 run mtw and vi
i had same trouble wen i binned my g force 6600 gt s x2
and upgraded for my 8800 gts
as u say cant deploy no lines for dragging thickness etc
and u cant even run them all forward
i tried it all trust me
so like i do ul just b doin mtw 2 and rome
unfortunatly i miss my viking era s and dux and recon mods , v v much
and even the 10 high eras lol
cya on mtw 2 tho soon i hope guys

GeForce 7600GT....runs all MTW games no problem. :2thumbsup:

problem is i have 7900gs x 2 and cant seem to play mtw/vi..........

but a bigger problem is i have just bought a 8800GT 512mb and will be installing this week, so no more vi for me , dam i love that game why cant they make a new one with same controls that takes the new graphic cards.:horn:

Take it back to the shop and exchange it for the 7600GT.

Since 8800GT is a new'ish card I guess there is a chance it still works for MTW/VI, ok not a big chance but we can always hope heh
