I'm told by the game to report this

Hi,

So I played a Phalava campaign, conqueored Asaak from the Seleucids.

I constructed Migration, afterwards pastorialism come up, and the description says:

You should not see this, please report this bug.

So that's why I'm here and what I'm doing now, reporting a bug.

I hate it when my computer tells me to do things. :laugh4:

(I'm note sure, but I think this is known. At least I've seen it reported before.)

Uh, no, don't PM, this is the right place for it. Thanks for posting, we'll get that fixed in the next release hopefully.

I noticed something as well. When I built a mine in Rhegion I right clicked for info and saw a long string of sentences says "Where is the roman mine discription???" Guess it never got updates. ;)

I found the same thing about the mines, but in Segestica, if I remember correctly.. It made me laugh. <_<

For some reason many of the building descriptions are very funny. Wonder who wrote them? The Carthaginian ones appear to be the best. Below are a few of the best ones I found while browsing trough the text file.

At least we now have a wooden palisade around the town. There was a serious danger of getting run over by a gazelle at dusk if you weren't careful before.

While our stone wall was good at protecting us from most local uprisings, this new addition to it has given us very good protection from almost all enemies. Granted, it still doesn't work if your enemies dress themselves up as Syrian shepherds or the new prostitutes for one of the town's brothels and sneak inside. Well, let's not talk about that particular incident any more.

Now that this little town is growing, we have built a small marketplace for it. The people are very pleased, but quite suspicious; I just heard one old timer remark how he didn't like the way this foreign cabbage smelled, but then he quickly spent a fair amount on what he called "mudturkles" for some bizarre reason.

A bazaar has now been constructed in this town. The locals have a much better supply of imported goods here now also. But I'm glad I don't live near the new bazaar though - carts running back and forth all night to stock things, all those commoners squeezing in to see the new goods for sale. Nope, I'm happy to live here in the rich section of town, where I deserve to be, because let's face it, I'm better than most of you.

The largest possible bazaar has been constructed here, and with it a large section of town is now devoted to trade. We can get anything you could possibly want here, and cheap too. And we can get it pretty quickly with all the improvements in our infrastructure. Some people claim it will hurt the mom and pop businesses throughout the rest of the city. But I say who needs them when you can get an 8-pack of sacrificial blades for just three shekels! It's a steal! Huh? Why would I need eight sacrificial blades? Well, I'm sure I'll find a use for them eventually. It was a bargain. How could I turn it down? I mean, it was eight blades for three shekels! Aw, you're just jealous.

Individual baths for many of the houses in our better neighborhoods now have a system supplying them with water and drainage. This is something the people are celebrating in the streets about. They look very happy, but I bet till we actually turn the water on that they will still be very smelly too.

Our mining operations here have received a substantial upgrade and we will now be able mine in this province much more efficiently. Greater profits will flow to our capital. We may finally be able to afford that really nice grill for the backyard now that the wife has been complaining was too expensive.

The best medicine available to us is now found throughout the day here at our new medical academy. Numerous healers and physicians study here and help our populace. I'm a bit of a sceptic myself though. If some cool water and a couple of days rest won't fix it, neither will these quacks. But if it makes you feel better, let them cut you open and bleed your humours out to "balance" your system. Be my guest.

I got one with the casse on a prot upgrade.

But what is the point of posting if no one are able to help and the only way to fix it is to wait for the patch?

it probably isn't enormously hard to fix, which is actually a good reason for not fixing it, yet. The team doesn't want to release new text files every few days which people need to install manually. It's a minor error, but we can't solve it for the next patch unless we somehow know it's there.
(Unless I'm mistaken, the effect of the error on your game is *just* that you won't get a description)

This forum is to help us identify problems and correct them for the patch. The point of posting here is to help make EB better.

You knotify the team that they have messed up something and if they don't fix it soon aliens will assimulate them...
