A random error
Hello all, I have a question. My game incures a random error for some reason. It doesnt give me any description other than "Medieval Total War 2 has encountered an error and must close". I have restarted but the same thing happens.
The only thing i did was edited the descrip_strat file so all the factions were unlocked but that was a while ago. Also while im here, the rebels cities/castles are now empty. So I put the rebels back to unplayable but it still remains the same. Any ideas? Thanks :2thumbsup:

Re: A random error
The reason is very simple, you messed up the descr_strat file. It's as simple as that. Simply replace it with a backup or reinstall the game. Then try again.

Re: A random error
I dont think that would be it though. It would have caused problems before, why now? Can someone send me their file? I got problems with mine.

Re: A random error
Easiest thing to check if the problem is something you have caused, is to reinstall the game, deleting the sega folder before installing it.
If that doesn't do it, then you have a failure somewhere on your system.

Re: A random error
Ive gotten this same problem only i havent doen anything and i reinstalled the game and it worked for about another week but started happening again. It only happens when i fight on battle map and the fight lasts like 10 mins before closing out. I really dont want to reinstall every week any suggestions?
