Uninstall Disaster

Hope someone can help with this.

Earlier today I unistalled EB 080 preparatory to uninstalling RTW. I then planned to reinstall RTW to get a clean RTW 1.5, then to install EB 081.

Unfortunately I made a major mistake. The EB 080 unistall went fine, but when I attempted to uninstall RTW, it seemed to hang up.

So I "ended task" (oops :thumbsdown: ). When I tried to uninstall RTW again, the uninstaller was nowhere to be found.

I'm now in limbo. When I put in the RTW CD, it does not present me with an option to install, but neither will it uninstall.

Any advice will be most appreciated.

You try the Install Guide, it covers the proces of uninstalling your copy of RTW. Almost guaranteed to help you too! ~;)

Sounds like you need to manually uninstall. (remove registry entries for RTW)
Check out the current FAQ. At the end of the "Install" section there is a short guide to help with things like this.

Yup, thanks Marcus, that's what I had to do. Cleaned up my registry, all is golden now :2thumbsup: .
