Cinematic Editor
I downloaded the new leaked 1.2 patch and I was trying to get the cinematic editor working but it doesn't seem to work for me. I followed all the instructions in the readme file and all that happened was that it started the game when I entered in the command line.
Can anyone tell me how to open the editor as I need it for a project at school? Thank you very much. :)

Re: Cinematic Editor
That's one weird school project :inquisitive:
As for the cine ed: I haven't played around with it yet, but you may have to press a key or open a replay for it to work.
CA will probably write a tut for it come the final patch.

Re: Cinematic Editor
Well I need it for a battle reinactment. Let me see if I can play around with it some more and figure out something.

Re: Cinematic Editor
Well it's pretty easy to set up, but I don't know what to do with it.
Simply add the stuff in the readme to your config and set the replay line to the right file (whatever.rpy)

Re: Cinematic Editor
One thing I'm not sure is, when it says enter that command in the command line, does it mean opening command prompt and entering it there or does it mean something else?

Re: Cinematic Editor
Yes, either that or using a bat file.

Re: Cinematic Editor
Okay I just want to make sure I created the config file and put it in the Config folder in the main directory. Is that the correct spot?

Re: Cinematic Editor
Nope, you have to put it into the main directory (and it has to be a copy of medieval2.preferences.cfg before you insert stuff)
