Upright Trait: How does it progress ?
Hey !
The Upright trait... Honest -> Trustworthy -> Utterly Immaculate, which gives +6 Law. I'd like to know how to influence this trait to progress on one of my generals (and then send him off to Jerusalem). According to the code I only see trigger for acquiring this trait i.e birth, hereditary, or if refused bribe. How does it develop ?
Also is there some calculation apart from the triggers that expand a trait ?
Many thanks.
Salute !
Re: Upright Trait: How does it progress ?
It progresses by your general refusing bribes only really.
In 1.2, a few new triggers also allow picking it up if you sit around town with a religious building.
Re: Upright Trait: How does it progress ?
Good that they changed that.
Are the triggers the only things that can advance traits ? or maybe there is a time factor ? I doubt it but I thought I'd ask in case.
Re: Upright Trait: How does it progress ?
Only triggers. No trigger, no trait.

Note that several traits have a trigger called selfperpetuating. This means that the trait will progress each turn(or at least has a chance of doing so).
