Walking on Water
When I started playing KH on EB0.81, the first thing I wanted to do was to join my Spartan and Athenian forces in order to attack Korinthos.
They were intended to rendezvous to the east of the town. Imagine my surprise when my Athenian force ignored the isthmus and started marching up the coast to Thermon!
Anyhow, a closer look at the map revealed that the isthmus it not traversable, and that you actually have to use a landbridge further to the west.

Well, given the attention to detail evident in the EB map, I can't believe this was an accident, so can the team please let me in on the reason. My personal guess is that it is something to do with allowing ships to pass through the isthmus.

Re: Walking on Water
The reason that the map does that is so that you can cross both troops and ships across the isthmus. It is two tricks used togeter. Unconnected land looking connected and the 'land bridge'.
EDIT: pic's working

Re: Walking on Water
Thanks for the rapid reply, this question has been nagging me for a month - as for the picture I am experimenting, haven't found out how to make my picture appear in-line rather than as a link.
Ah, at last - I can post pictures (rushes off to add new skill to his C.V.).

Re: Walking on Water
Well your image isn't showing up, but I know what your talking about. Yes that's there on purpose, since the land you see there doesn't count to the game as land, so that ships can pass through there *because Cornith historically built a canal there for ships to use*. There are two ways to get to the Peloponnese, 1 part where you cross is right next to land stripe IIRC, and the other is over west, you cross over where Elis would be..
