Campaign HELP
:help: I am using Time V0.5 program and have created a campaign map whenever I go to play it it says error in the dec_regions.txt 'Wessex' is not foudn in the stringtable or something like that about the stringatble. Any Help please.
I am using only two regions with Briton as a playable and slave as the other (non-playable).

Re: Campaign HELP
the 'stringtable' is not something that exists separately anywhere. It is something game tries to make when it loads, it relies on information that is in descr_regions.txt, descr_strat.txt and in data/text/campaign_name_regions_and_settlements_names.txt
all tying up. If you have added the region name to descr_events, descr_win_conditions and / or descr_mercenaries.txt that also has to be spelt and capitalised correctly to tie up with the above files. (its best just to have those last two files completely blank when first designing campaign to avoid complications)
Don't rely on editor to necessarily get all that right, look at the files after you have made changes to check all have appropriate alterations. (and keep back ups of any working version)
Having only two regions and factions shouldn't cause problem except for big map having only two regions can upset your graphics, but that is nothing to do with your current error message.

Re: Campaign HELP
The Error message: couldn't find region 'Wessex' in stringtable.

Re: Campaign HELP
Are you meant to have a region called Wessex as one of your two regions?
If you are it is probably mis-spelt or does not have same capital letter in one of the files I mentioned in last post.
There is also a peculiarity that game does not seem to like the data/text/.......regions_and_settlements_names.txt file if you try making one from scratch. Making copy of old one and adding new regions to that normally works though.
