I am thinking of an early Mongol/chinese/korean invasion OF japan in this period,
so a few ideas of units for
Mongol
Chinese
Korean
and japanese

as well as which japanese clans would most likely have been strong enough to make a difference.
(Mongol, Chinese and Korean may have their own armies, commanders)

Mori - (only clan with warrior monks)
Takeda - (only clan with heavy cavalry (60 men))
Imagawa - (only clan with battlefield ninja (20 men))
Uesugi - (only clan with ashi xbows)
Oda - (only clan with yari ashigaru)
Taketora - (only clan with naginata cavalry)
Ichimonji - (only clan with hatamoto (20 men) - all others use a minature heavycav (10 men))

what about a Mongol vs Korean vs Chinese vs Japanese?
(there are plenty of MTW units that would lend themselves to being different nationalities)

seeing that I am the one doing all the Clan Research

well the one thing i know of the mongols is that since they reached india their religion tell today has been tibetan buddhist and that i would like to see a combination of the units from the orignal

MTW and the mongol invasion of the shogun total war. mixed unit tatics. not just shogun total war mongol units.

Modding a Mongol faction in there would be a nice change..

That unit list is correct Puzz3D but you forgot the Korean Skirmishers which should be included IMO.
Mongols would be a nice addition to this mod (long overdue)
