A Disappearing Main Hall Thread

Hi guys,
I am sorry to say that, today, a thread, by a member with the username "Sir Evil" appears to have strangely disappeared. I've searched for it by all means possible, by both looking through Sir Evil's posts and searching the Main Hall using the forum search, yet to no avail.

I sadly, due to my unintelligent mind, cannot seem to remember the exact title, yet I know that it had something to do with "Pikes" and "Spearmen" and how one is able to train them in Medieval: Total War.

May I ask you fellows if you know where the thread has gone? I'm a little bit confused by it's disappearance, and I desired knowledge of what the veterans of M:TW may have had to add to my rather humble answer.
