Having Senate take 1 settlement ??

Hi guys,


Just wondering if its somehow possible to have the senate take a single settlement (possibly work like other factions after the civil-wars as well, or before...)

I have a huge map with Rome and an other settlement in the center and the other Romans around that, now I'd like the Senate to get this 2th center-settlement but if possible I dont want them start out with it
and it would really be cool to see the Senate take a settlement here and there, possibly triggered by an event like the civil-wars

Does someone know if this is possible at all and where I might want to start my quest ...??
