The battle recorder of WE/MI is a great feature. Used in combination with the logfile you can review large battles and learn from it. This has been very useful in my training of a new member of my clan. I would like to see morale and fatigue indications in the playback, and an indication for death of the taisho.

i downloaded the logfile reader but it did not work. (sniff...sniff)
dont know if its just me, but i found my mouse lags and screen choppy when i have recording on, so ive never really used it.
they better stop recording in ascii mode if they decide to make the record an official feature for the mtw, it takes too much system resource.

For my case, there seems to be no difference with recorder on/off. To add to Yuuki's suggestion, probably to tieup the .dat with the .log number. Right now I have to manually append the number to each .dat so that I know what battle it is... yeah i have all my battles recorded and archived.

Do you mean a logfile like file to create battles (the current ADF files) enabled for online, or do you mean an output log?
If it's possible to create a logfile out of a battle it should also be possible to create a battle out of a log. That allows creation of online campaigns and scenarios.

Just adapt the current logfile system to allow for extra information to be added.
