I'm new here and I was wondering if anyone knows where online I can find good tech trees. I don't really need to know all buildings, just which buildings are required to create which units for all BI factions. I'm not sure if you call that a "tech tree" or not, but that's what I am looking for.

Hi and welcome Theodoric,
Don't worry, no need to hunt! The great R:TW comes with a nice set of tech-trees for each individual settlement! To open up a tech tree you first need to open up a settlement details scroll, just double click on a settlement and it will open up. After that you need to click on the highest button, the one with a mathematical compass on it, on the far left.
Then, as if by magic, the tech-tree shall appear before your eyes!
Simply right click on something to see what it does/trains/doesn't train.

Thanks, Omanes, but actually I have been playing RTW since 2004 and I am well aware of the in-game tech trees. The problem with those is that you can't look at all factions' tech trees at once. You have to start a new campaign with each faction in order to see each in-game tech tree individually. Also, you have to actually be in the game to see those, and, as I am at work right now, I don't have the game at my disposal.
What I am looking for is a guide that shows all units for all factions and the building requirements for each. I found one of these for RTW on the internet. I have played BI and Alexander much less than RTW, however, and I would like to look at a BI unit tree where I can compare all of the factions before I decide which faction to play as.
I know there are many brilliant people here on this site, so I thought surely someone must have a guide to the BI units and buildings.
