Hi,
I plan on buying a custom comp soon, and I was wondering, which OS should I use?
The comp would mainly be used for TW games, but I would use it for everything else as well. Would it be wiser to use Linux, or XP, which I have now anyways.

Unfortunately, I don't think you'll have much luck with any of the TW games under Linux. Some people have apparently gotten parts of it to work under Wine, but as of yet, nothing you'd probably want to try to play.
Sounds like you're stuck with XP for now. No reason not to dual boot though, if you want to play around with Linux. Recently, I've run Hitman2 and Warcraft3 under Wine flawlessly along with a growing list of native, free games.
Ok. Then how do you run two OS, if that is what you mean. and what is WINE?
Wine allows you to run many Windows applications under Linux.
Someone else might be better to share advice on dual booting- I use dedicated machines instead. I've dual booted before, but it's been years. In a nutshell, you'd install XP and then install Linux on the same computer- upon boot, you'd get to choose which OS to load.
