Original Thorakitai Argyraspidai texture and sprite

Does anyone still have the original Thorakitai Argyraspidai texture and sprites from pre 0.8?

Aesthetically I find the original much more pleasing...and somewhat more realistic...considering just how uncomfortable a chain veil would have been. (and its questionable cost-benefit)

If possible I'd also like the original unit card and info card.

If mail veils didn't work they wouldn't have been used for closer to two millenia.

Indeed, the Sassanids didn't mind, neither did the Byzantines or the Arabs or even the Vikings! I think the Thorakitai Argyraspidai looks badass the way they are now. Why change it?:embarassed:

You'll find the old textures in the old releases. Don't know where you can find those though. You should find it by searching with eMule for "barbarorum" at least, but I doubt there are many serving the file.

As far as i know this unit hasn't changed from 0.72.

Am I the only one that feels a little intimidated whenever he see's those guys with their chain-veil things?

Not when I'm playing as the Lusotannan. Diadosikelli (or at least soelthing similar) still beat them filthy barbarian greeks. ~;p

Dosidataskeli and yeah they pretty much own the battlefield.
